There is a unique village in New Jersey where real lives were lived from the 1700's to early 1900's and their homes, stores and blacksmith shops are slowly being lost to time.  The buildings range from 1700 log cabins, early 1800 hotels, taverns and shops to late 1800 Victorian mansions. For over 3 years I set my mission to artistically document this living history museum before it disappeared. It involved over 15 shoots working with 10 models capturing the architecture and the ruin with models in period costume from 1800's to 1900s and art nudes. My vision was the models depicting either living residents captured in their time, or as ghosts returning to long for their former lives as well as nudes to artistically capture the abandoned deterioration.  From over 2000 finished images, I selected this small portion to represent the breadth of the village, its beauty and decline, and the various talents of  the models who brought my artistic vision to life.  Eventually, I would like to create a coffee table book.

Playmate and Body Positive Activist Khrystana Art Nudes in the Forts and Beaches of Sandy Hook. We have been acquainted for years since MySpace days when she was located in San Francisco. A truly beautiful soul. She moved to NYC and we finally had the opportunity to meet/shoot. And she was just as wonderful in person as well as a fantastic model. I caught her just before her star rose placing second in America's Next Top Model, a Playboy Playmate, and featured model for various clothing lines. And she is still so down to earth :)
